It’s free to set up your studio and free for students to register. Mastery Connection only earns money when you earn money.
Platform fee
15%When a student pays for a class, we collect a 15% platform fee from the payment (including payment processing) and distribute the remainder to the instructor.
Free to start
No subscription. No setup charge. No monthly minimums.
Instructors don’t pay anything until they have paying students.
Students pay at checkout
Fees are taken from the student’s payment at the time of purchase.
Instructors receive the remainder in scheduled payouts.

Payouts happen twice monthly
Funds are transferred on the 1st and 15th of each month.

Some payments take time to clear
Payments made shortly before a payout may not be available until the next payout cycle,
depending on processing/settlement timing.

No financial risk to set up
You can create your studio, set availability, and share your booking link with no up-front cost.
Example
If a student pays $100 for a class, the platform fee is $15, and the instructor receives
$85 (distributed in the next eligible payout).
